Latest Android 16 beta update for OnePlus 13 comes with a customizable battery charging limit
OnePlus has recently rolled out the second Android 16 beta update for the OnePlus 13. While the company did share a list of known issues in its community post, it left out a rather interesting new feature introduced in this update.
According to an unofficial OnePlus System Apps channel on Telegram, Android 16 Beta 2 for the OnePlus 13 now includes a customizable battery charging limit. This lets users set a cap on how much their phone charges—anywhere between 80% and 100%—rather than sticking to a fixed 80%.
However, users can’t select just any number within that range. Instead, there are five preset options available: 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%, and 100%. The inclusion of the 100% option seems a bit redundant, as those who want a full charge likely wouldn’t set a limit at all. It’s possible this option might be removed in a future update.
If you’re running Android 16 Beta 2 on your OnePlus 13, you can find this new feature by going to
Settings > Battery > Battery Health,
and enabling the “Charging limit” toggle to choose your preferred charging cap.
