Multiple rumors have surfaced regarding the launch price of Apple‘s iPhone Fold, with estimates ranging from $2,000 to $2,500. A more recent report pointed to a $2,300 price tag. Now, tipster Instant Digital has weighed in, predicting that the device will fall in the $2,100 to $2,300 range.
This price estimate is said to be based on Apple’s current profit margins, positioning the iPhone Fold above key competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 ($1,900) and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold ($1,800). If true, this would make Apple’s first foldable nearly twice as expensive as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which starts at $1,199.
According to the latest rumors, the iPhone Fold is expected to launch next year, with Samsung supplying the 5.5-inch cover display and 7.8-inch flexible main screen. The foldable iPhone is also rumored to feature a liquid metal hinge, stronger than titanium. When unfolded, the iPhone Fold is expected to measure between 4.5mm and 4.8mm in thickness, while it will be 9mm to 9.5mm thick when folded.
