Realme introduced the GT 7 Pro in China last November, which later made its debut in India as the country’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone. While Realme has yet to confirm details about the GT 8 Pro, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some preliminary specs, offering us a glimpse of what to expect from the company’s 2025 flagship.
According to DCS, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC and will come with a premium metal frame. The device will boast a 2K resolution display and include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.
Powering the GT 8 Pro is a substantial 7,000 mAh battery, though charging speeds will be slower than its predecessor—the GT 7 Pro, which supports 120W charging. The GT 8 Pro will top out at 100W charging. While the exact camera setup remains unclear, it’s rumored to feature a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.
If Realme follows the same timeline as the GT 7 Pro, the GT 8 Pro likely won’t arrive until Q4 2025. However, Realme is set to unveil the GT 7 in China on April 23, which will be the next addition to the GT series.
